This elderly woman presented with a superficial squamous cell carcinoma of the right temple.
The tumor was excised and the defect repaired with adjacent tissue transfer, using a rhomboid rotation flap.
Rhomboid flap (similar to music note flap).
Tumor is excised and margins are checked with frozen sections.
Three weeks post-op.
The defect is covered by rotating the flap.
